INC. SEARCH & SUPPORT GROUP
Adoption Network to Gain Equal Love
& Support was founded by individuals, who through varied
adoption experiences, have come to realize the value of a
positive, growth oriented support network. We recognize that
adoption changes the dynamics of peoples' lives and of those that
love them.
Our founding members are dedicated to providing a have for anyone
dealing with adoption related issues. Many of our members are in
attendance for the support, but some do make the choice to
conduct an active search.
Support meetings are held on the second Friday of each month and
provide a confidential environmental for a free and open exchange
of ideas and feelings. All points of views are encouraged and
welcomed.
Birth Parents, Adoptees, Adoptive Parents, Foster Parents,
Siblings, Relatives and Friends have an opportunity to network,
use the support to enhance their adoption experience and share
their feelings.
As a group, we are committed to providing an accepting
atmosphere, conducive to self expression, education and health.
Participation in group discussions is voluntary.
SEARCH ASSISTANCE
ANGELS members, 18 years of age
or older, deciding to search, are given step by step assistance
to help them. Information and techniques we have gained during
our own search and other available resources will be shared.
Guidance and intermediary aid is available.
ANGELS does not endorse or employ any private investigators. We
feel that the process of gathering your own information
encourages the development of the knowledge and sensitivity
needed to deal with the challenging issues that may arise on this
important journey.

Our meetings our held the Third Monday
of each month from 7:00-9:30 PM at:
Finger Lakes DDSO aka MONROE Developmental Center
620 Westfall Road
Rochester, NY 14620
(Half way between E. Henrietta Rd & Clinton Avenue South)
The building is by the flag pole, parking opposite of the
building. A short walk to the buildings entrance,
beyond the flag pole. Handicap accessible.
If for some reason we have inclement
weather please call and see if we have canceled our meeting for
that night.
