(The Five Boroughs) Birth Name Search Service
One of the most
frequent requests that we receive is for looking up birth names
in the NYC Birth Index. We now have someone who is willing to do
this and has started a new service for just that purpose.
Joyce Ames of
Manhattan is starting a new service for those who were born in
one of the five boroughs of NYC (Kings (Brooklyn), Bronx, Queens,
Manhattan or Richmond (Staten Island). This is NOT a free
service, but her fees are very reasonable. You will not only
receive your birthname, but she will also document on what book
and page she found your information in case you need verification
at a later date.
